The Spokane Symphony mourns the recent and ongoing racial injustices perpetrated on Black people and all People of Color in our community and around the country. We are a multi-ethnic community; we pledge to work with all community leaders to fight racism and heal the deep wounds that hold us apart. We are intimately related at many levels, thus, racial injustice has no place in our society. Music must be a place free of division, and we welcome people of all ethnicities, religions and backgrounds to share in and enjoy the music we make.
