Annual Fund

We can’t do it without you!

The Spokane Symphony Orchestra is a 501©3 nonprofit organization and relies on charitable contributions to fund a large portion of its annual operating budget. Contributions to the SSO are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Some of the most important partnerships we have are with the individuals, businesses, foundations and government agencies that support our work. It is evident that our donors share a passion for our mission of enriching the community through the power and joy of classical music, and together we accomplish incredible things.

Some of the exciting things we do include presenting internationally-recognized artists in Spokane; performing timeless classical masterpieces that stir the soul; introducing fourth graders to the musical concepts of rhythm and expression through orchestral music for the first time; and presenting new and innovative programs that reach beyond the traditional repertoire.

We also own, maintain and preserve the historic Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, a wonderful community treasure that serves as a cultural hub for the region. Your support makes a difference in keeping our programs going strong. It is an exciting year, full of rich programming as Maestro Eckart Preu leads his farewell season.

Most sincerely,

Jennifer J. Hicks
Director of Development
