Individual Symphony Concert Tickets On Sale Aug. 19

SPOKANE – An announcement for all those who have been waiting to purchase tickets for the Spokane Symphony’s blockbuster season under the direction of Eckart Preu: individual concert tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19.

The public will be able to buy tickets for all 20 Classics concerts – including two performances each of 10 Classics concerts in Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, seven SuperPops concerts – featuring two performances of Holiday Pops at the INB Performing Arts Center, three Friday night Casual Classics concerts in Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox, gallery seats for six Chamber Soiree concerts in the Marie Antoinette Ballroom of the Davenport Hotel, two Symphony on the Edge performances at the Knitting Factory (formerly Big Easy Concert Hall) and four performances of the Nutcracker at the INB Performing Arts Center.

The Classics season opens on Sept. 13 with Fabulous Opening Night featuring Richard Strauss’ Alpine Symphony  and internationally acclaimed violinist Elina Vahala playing Bruch’s Violin Concerto. The SuperPops season kicks off a headliner concert with Peter Cetera, former  of the band Chicago on Oct. 13.
