Music, art and culture come together in way that will enhance your concert experience at INTERSECT. The Spokane Symphony is partnering with local chefs, bartenders and cultural arts groups for From China to America: Merging Cultures.
Immerse yourself in Chinese culture beginning with a pre-concert experience with nine traditional folk dancers from the Spokane Chinese Dance Group led by Mary Zhang. Experience the melodic notes of the Gu Zheng (Chinese harp) performed by Yang Xu while Chinese calligraphers ink your name on a souvenir card. Then, take in the display of local Chinese brush paintings while you await the Spokane Symphony’s featured concert for this evening.
Chef Jeremy Hansen of Santé, Common Crumb Bakery, and the forthcoming Inland Pacific Kitchen, will prepare an authentic Chinese tasting menu. 3-Course Tasting only $15. Purchase with your concert ticket.
