Development Director

The Spokane Symphony, embarking upon our 63rd season and uniquely poised as a model of innovation and excellence, seeks a top-level development leader.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful fundraising career history of strategic thinking, team leadership, volunteer motivation, financial acumen, resourceful drive and stamina, creativity and imagination.

The Development Director plans, implements and directs all programs of contributed income with a $1.4 million budget, including annual fund, corporate and individual underwriting, planned giving, grants, and capital campaigns for the Symphony organization.

The Development Director works directly with the Executive Director, the Trustees of the Symphony, the Development Committee of the Board, the Spokane Symphony Associates, and the Spokane Symphony Endowment.  This position is one of five Director level positions and manages a 3-person development staff.
