Affordable Tickets and Special Offers

For the 2013-2014 season, we continue to keep our classical music concert single ticket prices affordable, starting at only $15 for adults.  As a comparison, here are representative single ticket prices for one adult to attend a classical music concert in other nearby cities (internet survey as of 8/26/13): 
  • Seattle Symphony --- $19 to $112
  • Oregon Symphony (Portland) --- $22 to $98 
  • Boise Philharmonic --- $20 to $70

Season Tickets (Subscriptions)

Season tickets offer our best value on a per-concert basis.  We have a variety of season ticket plans available:
  • Classics - 10 concerts (choose Saturday evenings or Sunday afternoons):  $110 to $375
  • SuperPops Five - 5 concerts (Saturday evenings - Does not include Video Games Live): $129 - $297
  • SuperPops Six - 6 concerts (Saturday evenings - Includes Video Games Live): $155 - $346
  • Symphony with a Splash - 3 concerts (Friday evenings): $60
  • Chamber Soirees - 3 concerts (choose Tuesday or Wednesday evenings): $50 to $140
  • Take 5 - Choose any five performances from Classics, SuperPops (limit 2) and Splash: $165 or $190

Special Offers

We periodically offer special pricing on individual concerts and multi-concert packages.  For information on our current offers, please click here.  Special offers may be made available only on Facebook or via Twitter and are sometimes only made available to those who have signed up for our emails.

Special Family Pricing

Families may purchase tickets to individual Classics performances for $20 per adult and $10 per child (age 8-17). There must be at least one child's ticket purchased to receive special family pricing.

Other performances that have special pricing for children include:
  • Holiday Pops Matinee (Sunday, December 22, 2013): Tickets for children 17 and under are half of adult price.
  • The Nutcracker Ballet (Thursday, December 5 through Sunday, December 8): Tickets for children 17 and under are half of adult price except in Golden Circle seating, which are $30. Children's prices apply only when accompanied by an adult at regular prices.
  • Beethoven's Ninth (Tuesday, December 31): Children's tickets are $16 when accompanied by an adult at regular prices.

Military Discounts

Active duty military may purchase discounted tickets from the Ticket and Travel Desk at Fairchild Air Force Base for 15% off.  Rush tickets for active duty military (with ID) are also available two hours before our Classics concerts (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturdays and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sundays) for $8 (cash only).  Best available seating at the time of purchase is given to active duty military. 

Typically there is no rush for Pops, but if there are enough seats available, we offer $16 rush for military. Availability is usually decided the day of the concert. Military can purchase tickets in advance at the group rate for any SSO concert.

Student Rush Tickets

Rush tickets for college and high school students (one ticket per student, with student ID) are available two hours before our Classics concerts  (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturdays and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sundays) for $8 (cash only). Seat location is at the discretion of the Box Office. 

Typically there is no rush for Pops, but if there are enough seats available, we offer $16 rush for students. Availability is usually decided the day of the concert. 

Senior Citizen Rush Tickets

Rush tickets for seniors (age 62 or better, one ticket per person, with ID) are available two hours before our Classics concerts (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturdays and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sundays) for $15 (cash only). Seat location is at the discretion of the Box Office. 

Typically there is no rush for Pops, but if there are enough seats available, we offer $16 rush for seniors. Availability is usually decided the day of the concert. 

Education Classics Concert

Educators are honored at a designated Education Classics concert on an annual basis.  The 2013-2014 Education Classics Concert is Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 3 pm. All educators and music teachers may purchase tickets to this performance or any other Classics concert for $20, and add any students for $10 each. Community and Free Concerts

The Spokane Symphony performs two free concerts each Labor Day weekend:
  • Saturday of Labor Day weekend: Pavillion Park in Liberty Lake, paid for by Friends of Pavillion Park.  This year's concert is on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 at 6 pm.
  • Monday of Labor Day weekend:  Comstock Park in Spokane, sponsored by Sterling Bank. This year's concert is on Monday, Sept. 2, 2013 at 6 pm.
  • Periodically, community concerts are performed at neighborhood venues.  Information about these performances may be found here.
